Located inside the historic Stonewall Inn in New York City, the recognized birthplace of the modern LGBTQ civil rights movement, the Wall of Honor is a permanent installation dedicated to recognizing pioneers, activists, and leaders who have advanced equality and justice.
The project was initiated by Nicole Murray Ramirez and established in partnership with the International Imperial Court Council and the National LGBTQ Task Force. Through this collaboration, the Wall of Honor ensures that the achievements and contributions of LGBTQ trailblazers are commemorated at the very site of significant historical events.
The most recent Wall of Honor induction ceremony was heralded as a major success, drawing national attention and bringing together community leaders, elected officials, and allies to celebrate both legacy and progress. The ceremony included heartfelt tributes and record community participation, honoring new inductees while further establishing the Wall as a vital space for remembrance, pride, and inspiration for future generations.
